Representing the Singapore Division, Dr. Chong brings decades of clinical and academic excellence to this pivotal role.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"zfr3Q CDt4Ke \" dir=\"ltr\"><span class=\"C9DxTc \">Dr. Chong is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Pathology at Sengkang General Hospital, Singapore. Her clinical interests lie in histopathology and cytology, and her career reflects a deep commitment to advancing diagnostic precision and medical education. She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1978, became a Member of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 1988, and was inducted into the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 1990.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"zfr3Q CDt4Ke \" dir=\"ltr\"><span class=\"C9DxTc \">In her message as Education Chair, Dr. Chong shared how the IAP transformed her perspective as a young pathologist, expanding her view beyond the microscope to the vibrant global community of pathology. She now hopes to bring that same inspiration to others, stating:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"zfr3Q CDt4Ke \" dir=\"ltr\"><span class=\"C9DxTc \">\u201cThe IAP changed my (pathology) life and showed me just how big and wonderful and colourful the wider Pathology world could be.
